Registered Midwife Antenatal Services

The Role:
An opportunity is available for a passionate and community minded Registered Midwife to deliver vital antenatal services on a part time basis.
The Antenatal Clinic Midwife fulfils the role and responsibilities of a Registered Midwife providing sensitive, evidenced based, family centred care.
This role will work in the Antenatal Clinic alongside midwives and MBPH Obstetricians to provide antenatal assessments, booking in visits and high & low risk clinics in accordance with the National Midwifery Guidelines for Consultation and Referral and Safer Care Victoria guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife, with a minimum of 2 years (5 years preferred) midwifery experience.
You will also have:
* Demonstrated organisational skills and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated sound level of midwifery
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation and our external stakeholders
* Knowledge and awareness of the latest evidence-based practice in Women's Health
* Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
A Drivers Licence is essential for this role.
This position is remunerated in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement and is classified as Community Health Midwife - $55.97 per hour.
