Buru Rehab is an Aboriginal owned earthworks and mining services contractor. Our core business covers mine rehabilitation for projects throughout Western Australia. We have an immediate opportunity for a casual Machine Operator at one of our site services projects for a Client near Port Hedland. You'll join a close-knit, culturally diverse and team on a labour-hire arrangement with the Client. Whilst casual on commencement, you may be considered for any permanent opportunities that arise.
The role will require the operation of several types of machinery to assist with site services tasks around site including operation of an Excavator, Loader and Skidsteer.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine operation in a mining environment with a safety first mindset and be capable in effectively managing Client relationships. You will have:
* Working knowledge and strong adherence to mine and Client safety procedures and regulations essential
* Current valid HR Driver's License
* Machinery tickets and experience for Excavator, Loader, Skidsteer (Essential) and and/ or any other machines.
* Ability to listen and follow instructions from Client leadership.
* MRL Inducted (preferred, but not essential)
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
