Overview

Seeking a team player to help our Rostering Team deliver.

OnTrack Tasmania is an expanding NDIS provider whose purpose is to enrich the lives of people with disabilities. We focus on social justice and support people with disabilities living with mental health and/or social issues to live as independently as possible in the community. We aim to assist Participants with housing, community involvement, and employment opportunities, and to advocate on their behalf as requested.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a can-do attitude to connect Participants with supports through rostering functions, assist with scheduling and workflow, and represent OnTrack Tasmania as a positive interface between Participants, their families, and services delivered. You will maintain high standards of confidentiality and privacy, and uphold compliance and professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the Program Manager to ensure shifts are filled in a timely manner, minimizing disruption to Participants and maximizing cost-efficiency for the organisation.
- Work with the Rostering Team to structure and monitor rosters to ensure compliance with industrial relations obligations.
- Proactively participate in rostering of current employees, including induction and buddy shifts in line with policy and direction.
- Maintain and update rostering data within software systems.
- Build, generate, and run reports as requested.
- Build rapport and trust with OnTrack Tasmania staff and Participants via phone, email, or in person.
- Participate in an on-call rotating roster.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving skills, and a positive, collaborative approach to teamwork.

Qualifications (Essential)

- Experience in rostering, preferably within a human services environment.
- Experience and/or qualifications relevant to working with people with disabilities under NDIS, or in a similar field (e.g., Aged Care).
- Knowledge of working in residential settings.

Other

- Hold a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Card (WWVP) and be able to provide an National Police Check (Police Check) less than 3 months old.
- Evidence of Working Rights within Australia.
- NDIS-endorsed Employee classification is required.
- Must be willing to attend periodic training.
