What We Offer
- Earning Potential: $109,000 - $119,000+ including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances (including superannuation)
- $38.58 - $42.45 per hour, depending on skills and experience
- Tool Allowance: $20.61 payable weekly
- Attendance Allowance: $30.15 payable on rostered worked hours
- Annual Leave loading of 17.5% - 20% (dependent on consecutive shift type and pattern)
- Up to 5 weeks annual leave (dependent on consecutive shift type and pattern)
- 15 days sick leave accrued annually
- Eligible for long service leave after 7 years
- Other applicable allowances payable as engaged listed in the relevant industrial instrument
- Ongoing Training and Development: Including in-house Heavy Vehicle Brake courses presented by a registered TAFE teacher
- Exposure to Advanced Technologies: Work on a range of vehicles, including Euro 5 & 6 technologies

Role Responsibilities
- Undertake preparation and cleaning of all surfaces prior to paint applications, including filing, grinding and sanding to restore a smooth vehicle surface
- Remove, repair and replace allocated panels that are damaged
- Maintain spray-painting equipment and tools provided by the Company
- Provide body structural, accident damage and related repairs, servicing and maintenance to vehicles as required
- Provide maintenance, preparation, replacement and repairs to all vehicle body components, panels, frames, and door systems
- Manufacture, service and fit vehicle components constructed from materials such as aluminium, timber, steel, stainless steel, glass, fiberglass, sealing and bonding materials
- Demonstrate and maintain clean workshop practices in day-to-day role to meet high standards
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are performed according to company policies and are recorded on designated forms
- Maintain workshop practices in line with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations
Our workshop staff play a critical role in maintaining the fleet to the highest standard to keep staff and passengers safe on the road. Training will be provided to ensure understanding of the standards required to meet contract obligations.

The Successful Applicant Will
- Possess relevant trade qualifications – MVTC (essential)
- Have adequate verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of spray-painting skills
- Have minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Adhere to WHS regulations and relevant company policies
- Have experience working in a team on daily maintenance and repair schedules
- Be proactive and motivated to continuously improve within a dynamic team
- Be physically fit to perform the role
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check and a working with children check
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
