Armajun Aboriginal Health Service is looking to recruit a full-time, Aboriginal Cancer Care Promotions Officer
There is currently an opportunity for a full-time, Aboriginal Cancer Care Promotions Officer, to join our team. The aim of the program is to;
· Guide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Clients through the healthcare system, ensuring timely and appropriate cancer care.
· Assist Clients in understanding treatment options, appointment, and self-determination in healthcare decisions.
· Culturally safe and accessible cancer support embedded across the continuum of care, improving patient outcomes.
· empowered communities with increased cancer knowledge and reduced stigma, through peer led support networks and education.
This role can be based in any of our offices; Inverell, Armidale, Glen Innes or Tenterfield.
