**The Opportunity**:
The Marketing & Fundraising Manager is a key leadership role within the Corporate Services team and works collaboratively with others to deliver marketing, and fundraising support to our diverse services. The Marketing & Fundraising Manager liaises with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the corporate brand and ensure marketing and associated activities are carried out in a professional and timely manner. This role leads the development of marketing and fundraising strategies and coordinates projects from initiation through to delivery with the support of the Marketing & Communications Team.

**What we are looking for?**
- Assist with the development and implementation of effective external communication strategies.
- Assist with the production and distribution of internal and external publications published for Samaritans including both print and digital formats including the website and intranet.
- Assist with events and general promotional activities for Samaritans as required.
- Work with services, corporate teams and partners to ensure professional communications activities and the maintenance of Samaritans' brand.
- Work with key stakeholders including donors, supporters, volunteers, parishioners and media to further marketing initiatives in general.
- Provide exceptional customer service to services and staff to ensure detailed briefs and project plans are collected and deliver those briefs to the team in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide support, advice, and assistance to Samaritans services in the establishment of marketing plans and promotional material.

- Use creative and innovative ideas to develop content across internal and external platforms including but not limited to website, intranet, social media and publications.
- Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative products including Sharepoint, content management systems and database software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills and effective stakeholder relationship management
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications or Marketing
- A current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children) & NDIS check.
- National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
