Job Opportunity
The Lecturer in Nursing position involves instructing students on nursing topics with a focus on clinical skills training and/or supervision of students undertaking work integrated learning.
* Create and coordinate engaging teaching activities that inspire students.
* Contribute to the development of new and existing curricula for student cohorts.
* Provide informal feedback to staff under their supervision.
This role requires an independent contribution to contemporary practice, knowledge, and skills through concurrent engagement in practice as a Nurse in a clinical or community setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, deliver, and evaluate innovative teaching methods for classroom and clinical education.
* Maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and industry through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Hold a Doctorate in a relevant field or equivalent clinical experience and professional standing in Nursing, along with current membership in a relevant professional association.
* Demonstrate registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and maintain relevant clinical experience concurrently.
