OverviewMonadelphous are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our PNG Operations team.
Initially you will be based in our Brisbane Head Office Monday to Friday for approximately 3 months, prior to mobilising to site on a 4 weeks on 2 weeks off roster for approximately 7 months.
This high-paced position will provide technical expertise across design management, project management, estimating, procurement, contractual correspondence, quality assurance, and internal/external stakeholder management for our work in Papua Current Guinea.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Construction Manager and Project Manager to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety and qualityWork closely with client representatives and deliver to meet their requirementsManage the interface between the engineering and project delivery teams to maintain compliance with the specifications, schedules and contractManage and supervise the resolution of technical queries as requiredProvide leadership, coaching and mentoring to other members of the engineering teamCompile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project; ensuring all schedule reporting requirements are metOwn and manage the change management processProvide support to the project team and implement best practice on the projectQualifications and Experience5+ years' experience working in an on-site engineering position for large-scale resources construction/maintenance projectsExperience building strong, value driven client relationshipsAn Australian recognised, tertiary qualification in Structural or Mechanical EngineeringProven experience in project management, including design managementStrong written and technical skills, with an innovative approach to technical problem-solving and continuous improvementExperience of managing the contractual correspondence across project deliveryWell-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levelsA strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environmentProof of right to work in Australia and a valid passportLife at MonadelphousWe celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
