The Full Story
The Environment Joining a tight-knit and passionate People & Culture team, you will occupy a newly created space between the P&C Advisor and the Director. This role is about \"quieting the noise\" of administrative distractions to focus on high-level advisory work and building the long-term industrial capability of our frontline leaders.
Your Impact (Strategic & Technical)
* Strategic Partnering: You won't just solve disputes; you will coach and guide managers through the complexities of the employee lifecycle, helping them navigate performance and conduct matters with empathy and procedural fairness.
* Technical Authority: Utilise your deep expertise in the SCHADS Award to provide clarity around interpretation and workforce planning. You are the \"anchor\" for compliance and Fair Work matters.
* Leading Change: Champion the \"frontline heroes\" in day programs and community homes through roster reviews, system implementations, and funding shifts—ensuring no one is left behind.
* End-to-End Wellbeing: Manage injury and illness support to ensure a workforce that feels cared for and empowered to return to work.
What You Bring
* You are an expert in the application of the SCHADS Award (essential). Experience with Children's Services or Health Awards is a distinct advantage.
* You likely come from a high-volume consultancy OR in a highly focused ER role where you are wanting to move away from highly reactive and to proactive- A trusted BP with a ER focus but with time to focus on building relationships and capability so you can spend your time on the value add.
* Relationship Focus: You thrive on building authentic, grounded relationships and have a passion for ER, IR and educating others.
