About the role
We are seeking a commercially driven Product Support Services Representative to manage and grow key customer accounts across South Australia. This is a role for someone who excels in business development, strategic account management, and customer relationship building, while also understanding the operational needs of construction equipment owners.
Acting as a trusted advisor, you will proactively engage with customers to identify opportunities, provide tailored parts and service solutions, and help optimise their equipment performance. You'll be the face of Cavpower in the field—developing strong partnerships, uncovering sales opportunities, and ensuring our customers receive industry leading product support.
Key responsibilities of this role
* Manage and strategically grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives
* Proactively identify new sales and aftermarket opportunities through customer engagement and market insights
* Promote and sell parts, service, rebuild and repair options, driving sustainable revenue growth
* Develop account plans, support tender responses, and contribute to territory growth forecasts
* Conduct regular customer visits to understand maintenance requirements, fleet performance, and future planning
* Maintain accurate customer, sales, and equipment records using CRM platforms (e.g., Texada)
* Collaborate with internal service, parts, and technical teams to deliver tailored outcomes
* Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing insights that shape sales strategies
* Support product support campaigns, marketing initiatives, and business development activities
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs while delivering a high quality customer experience
About you
* Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales, ideally within construction, heavy machinery, automotive, industrial, or related sectors
* Mechanically minded, with a general understanding of equipment maintenance and product support
* Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Confident in using CRM systems and maintaining a structured sales pipeline
* Self motivated, organised, and capable of managing your schedule and territory with autonomy
* Commercially savvy, proactive, and passionate about helping customers succeed
