 
        
        About the Role
As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior management with performance reviews and decision-making.
You will be responsible for processing accounting transactions accurately and producing timely month-end reports. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Monthly Management Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on our financial performance, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
 * Bank Reconciliations: Perform accurate reconciliations across multiple currencies to ensure the integrity of our financial records.
 * Accounting Transactions: Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our Pronto ERP system, ensuring all tracking categories are up-to-date.
 * General Ledger Reconciliation: Maintain detailed reconciliation workpapers and intercompany loan matrices to ensure our financial records are accurate and reliable.
 * Fixed Asset Management: Manage and maintain our Fixed Asset register, ensuring all assets are properly accounted for and depreciated correctly.
 * Cash Flow Forecasting: Regularly update our cash flow forecast to ensure we have sufficient funds to meet our financial obligations.
 * ATO Submissions: Prepare and lodge ATO submissions, including IAS and BAS, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
 * Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT): Assist in preparing the FBT return, ensuring accurate calculations and timely submissions.
 * Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations with detailed variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
 * Budget Preparation: Collaborate with the General Manager and department heads to assist in budget preparation, ensuring our financial plans align with business objectives.
 * Financial Statement Templates: Prepare financial statement templates and supporting documents for external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Business Systems and Controls:
 * Maintain the integrity of our company's accounting system, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and internal control procedures are adequate.
 * Ensure our business systems at the branch are adequate for effective daily management, recording sales orders, despatches, invoicing, collections, inventory, purchasing, and payments to suppliers.
Selection Criteria:
 * A strong passion for working in a manufacturing environment, particularly in monitoring inventory costings and Bill of Materials.
 * Strong existing knowledge of the Pronto ERP system.
 * Current progress towards CA or CPA qualification.
 * Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work independently.
 * Experience working with international entities within a corporate group.
 * A proven ability to adhere to a structured month-end process and meet reporting deadlines.
 * Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple departments.
 * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
