This position is responsible for the maintenance of hospital equipment and infrastructure, ensuring that medical services can be provided to the public.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and repairing hospital furniture, beds, and wheelchairs, as well as performing general fitting and machining work including welding.
* Conducting daily checks on boilers, medical gas, oxygen plant, suction plant, and other associated equipment.
* Participating in an after-hours emergency maintenance roster.
Requirements:
* A current trade qualification as a Mechanical Tradesperson with proven experience in a maintenance environment.
* Experience working with steam boilers and related plant.
* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including the WHS Act.
* Able to obtain Steam Boiler certification if not already held.
