Coordinator Recreation Centre – Goldfields Oasis Starting from: $115,723.09 About the Role This position is responsible for the effective management of all facets of the Goldfields Oasis Recreation Centre, including finance, strategic planning, public relations, risk, building and aquatic facility management, and marketing. The Coordinator provides visionary leadership and motivates a team in a challenging environment to ensure best industry practice. Key Responsibilities Oversee all operational activities of the Centre. Maintain best practice in risk management. Develop and manage budgets, asset plans, and report on financial and statistical data. Align the Centre’s goals with the City’s strategic objectives and values. Lead and manage employees, fostering a strong customer-focused culture. Ensure a positive public image and implement innovative marketing initiatives. Drive strategic programs and identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain productive relationships with community groups and stakeholders. Skills & Knowledge Previous experience in recreation management and staff supervision. Strong leadership and communication skills. Sound knowledge of budgetary control and risk management.
