Who are we?
The Perth Hub, situated on Wadjuk land, is one of the Bureau of Meteorology's premier technical operations centres.
Staff based at the Perth Hub travel far and wide utilising 4WD's, planes, boats and helicopters to maintain service delivery within the various instrumentation networks. This includes:
- Flood warning / rainfall monitoring systems
- Doppler Rain Radars
- Automatic Weather Stations (AWS)
- Upper-Air monitoring systems (Sounding Balloons)
- Tide/Sea Level gauges
- Wave height buoys
- Communications, telemetry and instrumentation systems
We offer specialised, in-house competency-based training on all our equipment and will ensure you have the necessary tools and skills to undertake this work.
