About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your professional and clinical skills with support from leading experts.
You will report to the Head of Regional Services for Queensland and the Northern Territory, working closely with an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner in Alice Springs.
Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing behavioural support plans and programmes, assisting with plan implementation, and supervising other practitioners.
The work is based on the principles of Multi-Element Behaviour Support (MEBS) and Positive Behaviour Support for children and adults across home, community, and workplace settings.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support.
* Hold or be able to obtain an NDIS Practitioner ID, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Children Check.
* Proven experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Behaviour Analyst, or Behaviour Therapist.
* Ability to prepare and finalise technical reports promptly, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Effective time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Hold a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
* Willingness to make a significant difference in the lives of the people and families we support.
