Job Description
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities on a 24/7 basis. Your role will involve providing assistance with personal cares, domestic tasks, manual handling, and administering medication via peg.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-care personal care assistance, including incontinence support and bowel therapy
* Performing domestic tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment
* Manual handling, such as transfers, hoisting, and slide sheets
* Administering medication via peg tube
* Accompanying clients to community outings and health/rehab appointments
Requirements:
* Australian Driver's License
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
* Current National Police Clearance (within the past 12 months)
* Current Blue Card
* Current Yellow Card
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
* NDIS Effective Communication Module Completion
