Anglicare seeks a compassionate and dedicated **Retirement Living Chaplain** to provide spiritual and pastoral care to residents and their families in our Wollondilly and Brindabella villages. As a key community member, you'll be vital in supporting residents' well-being, offering emotional and spiritual guidance, and fostering a caring and inclusive Christian culture.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide pastoral care and spiritual support to residents and families, promoting their well-being.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive Christian community in collaboration with local parishes and other faith communities.
- Respond to pastoral emergencies and provide compassionate care during times of crisis.
- Support residents in accessing spiritual care options aligned with their preferences.
- Monitor residents' overall well-being and safety, working closely with families and emergency contacts.
**About You**:
You are a **licensed clergy with the Anglican church **with a passion for working with older adults, and you possess:
- A theological degree (preferably) and at least one 400 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A deep understanding of the aging process and the unique spiritual needs of seniors.
