Lead Strategic Partnership Development

We are seeking a highly experienced results-driven professional to drive our strategic partnership development, business growth and key program delivery. You will establish key partnerships, create excellent partner relationships, and manage strategic partner-facing projects.


About the Opportunity

* You will lead global growth in OEM partnerships for drones, eAviation, heavy EV, defence and security markets.
* You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the CTO, senior leadership team and the Board.


Key Responsibilities

1. Identify, develop, secure and manage key global strategic partnerships to expand market reach and technological collaboration.
2. Drive business development initiatives to support the commercialisation of our technology and products.
3. Represent us at industry conferences, trade shows and meetings, both domestically and internationally.
4. Lead the planning, execution and delivery of key partner-facing projects as a partner advocate.
5. Leverage data to drive decision-making and ensure timely prospect engagement & management.
6. Write compelling proposals in response to solicitations and funding opportunities.
7. Take ownership of initiatives from start to finish, demonstrating a hands-on approach to execution.


Requirements

* An engineering or science degree. Higher degrees, management or other qualifications would be an advantage.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in business development, partnership management, technical sales and project execution, ideally within the battery, drone, defence, aerospace or technology sectors.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated presentation skills.
* Demonstrated experience in managing partner-facing projects and programs.
* Ability to liaise effectively with management team peers and staff at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, take initiative and consistently deliver results in a lean, fast-moving environment.
* An extensive global contact network in the battery, drone, aerospace or defence industries would be a distinct advantage.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, presentation tools, project management software, AI and CRM systems is a natural prerequisite.


Location

Geelong preferred, other locations considered, with flexibility for frequent travel both domestically and internationally.
