Job Title: Senior Scheduler
The role of the Senior Scheduler is to oversee and coordinate the development, optimization, and execution of schedules for field crews across Victoria. The primary objective is to ensure safe, reliable, efficient delivery of electricity network services.
1. Lead end-to-end scheduling of field crews for maintenance, construction, inspection activities
2. Omit unnecessary travel while maximizing crew utilization and productivity
3. Collaborate with teams from planning operations
4. Adjust daily weekly schedules as needed due changing priorities unplanned outages weather events or urgent work orders
5. Maintain data accuracy using workforce management systems software tools Analyze performance metrics identify areas improvement in efficiency utilisation service delivery Provide guidance mentor technical expertise other schedulers planners Act key liaison point between teams supervisors operational control centres ensure effective communication coordination job roles Ensure all schedules meet safety regulatory enterprise agreement requirements Drive continuous initiative improvements scheduling practices processes
