Job Title: Event Coordinator - Venue Operations
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and production support to the programming team. This includes procuring artistic services, scheduling and event management, logistics, and implementing cultural protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration support for the programming team for MPAC events.
- Procurement of artistic services and scheduling.
- Event management and logistics coordination.
- Implementation of cultural protocols and provision of cultural advice within MPAC.
Requirements
- Experience with first nations cultural protocols and policies.
- A degree in a relevant discipline without subsequent relevant experience; or
- Subsequent experience in venue production management either based in a performing arts or venue company and/or managing large artist programs or events; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
