This role is vital, as production may halt if water service issues or gold recovery problems arise. The technician will collaborate with plant operations, production crews, maintenance, and regional dewatering/infrastructure teams.The role aims to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of water services and heap irrigation pipelines, supporting smooth plant operations and high housekeeping standards.DUTIESOperate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.Coordinate with Processing, Maintenance, and Dewatering teams to maintain water services.Service and inspect pump equipment for pit water and wastewater discharge.Troubleshoot water treatment plant equipment and ensure reagent supplies for off-hours.Manage risks related to heap irrigation pipeline fabrication to meet deadlines.Participate in equipment handovers with supervisors and operators.Maintain communication and administrative records, including service logs.Ensure high standards of housekeeping.Isolate equipment for maintenance.Train team members as needed.Fill in for process technicians during short staffing in day shifts.Perform other duties as required.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEKnowledge of gold processing2 to 5 years plant operator experience (desirable)Satisfactory National Police ClearanceValid work visa, permanent residency, or Australian citizenshipBENEFITSRemunerationPerformance BonusResidential and Site AllowancesInsurance and Private Health CoverOther BenefitsHealth and wellbeing programsDiscounted gym membershipEAP supportFamily-friendly rosterEMPLOYER QUESTIONSYour application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a service technician?What's your expected annual base salary?Are you willing to relocate for this role?Which statement best describes your right to work in Australia?
