About the role: We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to provide care, support, and assistance to clients in Rockhampton. These positions are casual, permanent part-time, and full-time, requiring early starts (7:00 am) to meet clients' needs and goals. Mercy Community supports and inspires people in need to live healthy lives within inclusive communities. Our services range from aged care at home to respite care, aiming to help clients flourish.
Salary: $38.26 - $40.25 per hour (SCHADS Home Care Aged Care Casual L3), plus superannuation and generous salary packaging options.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working with clients in their homes according to care plans.
2. Assisting with care needs and daily activities, including medication administration and domestic tasks.
3. Supporting transportation and community access.
4. Monitoring client conditions and reporting changes.
Qualifications required:
* Completed or studying towards Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing or equivalent.
* Experience working with clients with cognitive or physical limitations.
* Own vehicle with Queensland Provisional Green or higher driver's license, comprehensive insurance, and service history.
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain prior to start.
* Ability to pass legislative personal history checks.
