About the Role:
As an IT Support Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting both internal staff and external clients. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert technical support for a variety of IT environments
* Performing network and server maintenance & configuration
* Managing backup systems to ensure security and reliability
* Handling PC and portable device setup & troubleshooting
* Assisting with software development & commercialisation projects
* Supporting meeting room AV equipment
Who We’re Looking For:
We need a proactive problem-solver with a strong customer focus and a can-do attitude .
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience supporting businesses (20+ staff) and understanding their IT infrastructure needs
* Tertiary qualifications, industry certifications, or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication skills – You can explain tech to non-tech users
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and hybrid environments
* Expertise in Windows 10/11, Microsoft Hyper-V, and VMware
* Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
* A valid Australian driver’s licence – Travel may be required
Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded but Not Essential):
* Experience with Connectwise and Adobe products
* Programming and scripting knowledge
* Sales experience
