Known for their strong clinical governance frameworks and commitment to quality care, they are seeking an experienced Prison Health Centre Manager to oversee operations within a correctional facility.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader to step into a rewarding locum position in a unique and dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing day-to-day operations of the prison health centre, ensuring safe and effective service delivery
* Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nursing and allied health staff
* Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, policy, and accreditation standards
* Managing rostering, workforce planning, and performance development
* Working closely with correctional services leadership and key stakeholders to ensure integrated care delivery
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
* Demonstrated experience in a Health Centre Manager, Nurse Unit Manager, or senior clinical leadership role
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management frameworks
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Previous experience in correctional, remote, or high-security healthcare settings (highly regarded)
