Junior – Mid level Network & Systems Administrator About the role Join a growing team within a very well established MSP supporting a large, distributed network environment. Acting as the “middle layer” between service desk and a Senior Network Engineer, you will own day‑to‑day network administration, assisting with projects, and steadily growing your capabilities and skillset. This is an ideal opportunity for a junior–mid level network administrator who is keen to upskill on the job. What you’ll do Support and administer routers, switches, Wi‑Fi and firewalls across a multi‑site environment (configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation). Assist with deployments and change activities Triage and resolve network incidents; escalating to the Senior Network Engineer when needed. Contribute to IT project work (e.g., site upgrades, device rollouts, standardisation). Maintain solid network documentation (diagrams, change logs, standards). Provide light systems support (e.g., AD user/admin tasks, DNS/DHCP basics) when required. Tech you’ll “play with” Primary: Ubiquiti UniFi and Fortinet FortiGate Also great: Cisco (ASA/IOS/Firepower), VMware NSX (nice to have) About you 3 years’ experience in networking (you’ve configured real gear before). Base‑level certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network highly regarded. Comfortable working from the office (southern part of Brisbane) with occasional travel to sites for setups Clear communicator, structured troubleshooter, and diligent documenter. Full Australian work rights; valid driver’s licence and access to a car for occasional site work.
