Customer Support (Evening) at Streem located in Surry Hills, NSW, AU. The role is seniority junior to mid level and involves weekday shifts from 12 pm to 8 pm, and a Saturday shift from 4:30 pm to midnight.
Responsibilities
* Supporting current customers via Phone, Email, and Live Chat to use Streem's real‐time media intelligence platform.
* Supporting the Account Management team with day‐to‐day tasks such as data entry, brief building, brief export, and testing new products.
* Building new customer briefs and collaborating with Account Management to deploy the Streem product to new customers.
* Producing, reviewing, and delivering media insights reports to customers and internal stakeholders using Streem's proprietary technologies.
* Collaborating with Account Management and Operations teams, providing feedback regarding customer requests to ensure the platform meets their requirements.
* Producing transcripts, summaries, and downloadable media, and preparing media brief documentation for clients.
* Conducting routine data entry, database maintenance, quality control of news content through the platform, and exporting data for reporting purposes.
Qualifications
* 1‐2 years of experience in a customer support or customer service role.
* Unshakable customer‐facing skills with the ability to take initiative, adapt to changing situations, and resolve challenges calmly.
* Ability to proactively manage conflicting priorities and deadlines in a fast‐paced environment while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to diverse non‐technical audiences.
* Strong desire to collaborate with teammates, learn new skills, and contribute to a supportive team culture.
* Interest in and understanding of the Australian media landscape.
Optional Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (completed or in progress).
* Previous experience in the media or news industry.
* Experience with media monitoring, intelligence, or social listening tools.
* Comfortable using Excel, project management tools, CRM tools, or Boolean search.
