About the Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a passionate kitchen team in a high-volume venue. Offering a salary of $70-80K (depending on experience), this role provides variety, stability, and the chance to showcase your skills in a supportive environment. With straight shifts only - no nights and no splits, you'll enjoy a true work-life balance while working with fresh, house-made food. Ideal for chefs who thrive in a fast-paced setting and want to combine career growth with a relaxed coastal lifestyle.

Position Description

* Execute high-quality dishes consistently during service
* Maintain strong prep standards and assist with menu execution
* Support senior chefs in daily operations and kitchen leadership
* Uphold food safety and hygiene compliance at all times
* Work collaboratively with the team to deliver a seamless service experience

Position Requirements

* Demonstrated experience in high-volume kitchens with fast, efficient service periods
* Strong background in staff training and mentoring within a kitchen environment
* Proven ability to manage ordering, stock rotation, and mise en place
* Solid prep skills with a strong emphasis on house-made and in-house food production
* Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
* Previous experience with baking and functions is highly regarded
* Flexibility to work across weekends and holidays is essential
