Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this Production Manager role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production to achieve company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage labour-related issues to ensure staff members contribute to company objectives and goals.
* Maintain product quality, hygiene, and bio-security standards through regular monitoring and improvement.
* Maximize resource utilization for the company's benefit by optimizing processes and reducing waste.
* Implement and manage continual improvement principles, risk management, and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum grade 12 education; tertiary education in Agriculture or related field is an advantage.
* At least 3 years of broiler breeder experience with a proven track record of success.
* A passionate and self-motivated individual with strong leadership skills and ability to manage staff effectively.
* Strong administrative skills with document control and excellent communication skills.
* Pro-active, accurate, and independent work ethic with ability to work under pressure.
