Electrical Engineer - Power System Specialist

The company provides power management solutions including uninterruptable power supplies, surge protective devices, power distribution units, remote monitoring software, power factor correction, airflow management, rack enclosures and services.
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to install, test, commission, service and repair power systems for critical applications in Sydney. This position requires experienced engineers with power system knowledge and expertise in dynamic data center environments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform tasks with a high regard for safe working practices and compliance to environmental health and safety protocols.
* Install and maintain critical power equipment and perform in-house and on-site repairs as required in accordance with maintenance agreements.
* Liaise with Project Management to carry out site inspections, commissioning and testing of power systems, creating documentation and reports for submission.
* Provide technical support and training to technical staff and contractors where required.
* Respond to emergency repair requests and provide 24/7 standby support.
* Perform functional acceptance testing on power systems and prepare detailed reports on tests carried out.
* Ensure timely submission of reports.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* 5 years' experience in a technical role servicing electrical or power electronics equipment.
* Degree qualification in electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics.
* Proficiency in MS Office and enterprise resource planning systems (Oracle, SAP).
* Excellent communication skills.
* Able to organize, prioritize, plan and work autonomously.
