Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description:
The Project Engineer plays a pivotal role in achieving project objectives by providing input and oversight to pre-planning and construction delivery.
* Successfully leads the project delivery process, driving completion of work in accordance with TAO requirements.
* Delivers works that fully satisfy the UGLRL's and Client's expectations of time, cost, safety, and environmental objectives.
* Manages site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Defines and fulfils UGLRL TAO Obligations for construction in line with UGL procedures, TfNSW requirements, relevant codes, and industry best practice.
* Reviews and arranges approval designs as construction progresses.
* Accountable for all construction management to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
* Accountable for design adherence or controlled changes in line with UGLRL procedures.
* Defines and implements quality assurance systems and processes required to meet TAO (construction) requirements.
* Acts as technical representative and nominated signatory for all hold and witness points.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Structures).
* Chartered Engineering Status, working towards or with intention to apply.
* Rail Infrastructure Workers Card 'RIW', plus relevant track access competencies.
* NSW Construction Industry Safety Induction 'White Card'.
* Current Class 1 (Minimum) Driving License.
