Coordinator Plant Operations

This role supports the Fixed Plant team at West Angelas and leads with strong leadership and communication to promote safety, efficiency, and innovation in safety, cost, and production.
Responsibilities
* Allocating tasks to crew members at the commencement of the shift in accordance with the daily plan, and throughout the shift in response to changes to work priorities
* Ensuring shift members and contractors understand and comply with HSE working procedures
* Assisting in identifying training and development needs for team members and providing feedback to the Supervisor
* Recommending changes to the Supervisor that impact production; addressing to negate problems or capitalize on opportunities, and carrying out those changes once approved
* Recording breakdown events in the supervisor handover tool
* Assisting with CMS when required
* Assisting the Supervisor to conduct performance reviews by providing input to team members\' performance
* Undertaking acting duties when the Supervisor is absent and liaising with other departments in a professional manner
What you'll bring
* A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
* A current C Class driver\'s license
* Strong and demonstrated knowledge of fixed plant equipment, breakdown management experience
* Leadership experience and confidence in leading, developing, and coaching team members
* An uncompromising positive safety attitude
* Strong communication skills and be comfortable liaising with various stakeholders
* Be highly self-motivated and able to demonstrate a history of continuous improvement

Where you\'ll be working
Located 110km west of Newman, West Angelas operates on a fly-in fly-out roster from Perth, Broome and Busselton. West Angelas is a pioneer in autonomous technologies with a large mining fleet in the Pilbara.
Our Marra Mamba orebody is part of the Pilbara Blend, providing products for rail traffic. The site features state-of-the-art power generation and refueling facilities to support operations.
