This role is key to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our HR function while supporting the delivery of our broader people strategy.As an HR Coordinator, you'll play a central role in coordinating employment contracts and letters, ensuring all templates are up-to-date, compliant, and efficiently managed across our systems. You’ll lead the onboarding journey for new support office team members—from offer to induction—creating a seamless and positive first impression.You’ll also be responsible for maintaining key HR processes, resources, and communications, including employee benefits, for both support office and store teams. In addition, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the wider HR team, assisting with document management, policy updates, supplier invoicing, and system maintenance. We’re also in the process of upgrading our HR systems and processes, so we’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and be part of this exciting change journey.If you're organised, people-focused, and ready to make a real impact—we’d love to hear from you!The skills we are looking for:Experience in Human Resources gained at Coordinator levelUnderstanding of best practice HR systems and processes, polices procedures and legislationDemonstrated capacity to determine priorities, meet strict deadlines and effectively balance competing demands and the ability to work under pressure both independently and as a member of a teamExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present reports and documentation of high quality and integrity and the capacity to deal with a wide range of clients and team membersHighly competent computer skills with knowledge and experience in the use of the Microsoft suite, the use of databases, e-mail and the InternetDemonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment, initiative, diplomacy, tact and discretion and proven ability to handle sensitive telephone calls, information, and materials in a confidential and appropriate mannerHigh attention to detailAbout UsAt Specsavers we believe a diverse, inclusive and flexible culture enables our people to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
