About this opportunity
As a Dietitian with the WA Country Health Service, you will plan, coordinate, and provide a dietetic service to a designated caseload of inpatient, outpatient and/or community clients. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and have the opportunity to develop broad clinical and professional skills.
Dietetic students in their final semester of study are encouraged to apply.

This is an open-ended recruitment pool for permanent, full-time/part-time, fixed-term and casual appointments. Appointments may be made until 31/07/2026.
The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications and assess on a regular basis.
Interviews may not be conducted as part of the process, but applicants may be contacted if additional information is required.
Referees will be contacted as part of the assessment process.
If you are successful in the pool, you will be considered for all suitable vacancies across hospitals and health services in the 7 WACHS regions for the duration of the pool without having to re-apply for each individual position. You can indicate your regional preferences and availability for positions.

To be considered for this role, provide the following four job requirements:
Evidence of an Australian dietetic qualification, or evidence of eligibility for full membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia, or evidence confirming enrolment in the final semester of university.
A comprehensive CV summarising your experience and professional qualifications.
A statement of 2-3 pages addressing the essential selection criteria, with examples to demonstrate your skills and experience.
The names and contact details of two recent professional referees. It is preferable for one to be your current supervisor or manager.
Successful applicants will be required to:
Provide evidence of an Australian dietetic qualification, or evidence of eligibility for full membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia, or evidence confirming enrolment in the final semester of university.
Provide evidence of Australian citizenship or permanent residency to be considered for a permanent position in the WA public sector.
Undertake criminal record screening and integrity checks; this may also include referees commenting on your integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour.
Complete a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA) and a Working With Children's Check (WA WWC Check).
