The Australian Medical Association (WA) is seeking a motivated Graduate Industrial Relations Advisor to join the team to support our members across a range of workplace and industrial matters.

What will I be required to do?
* Supporting the work of the AMA (WA) Industrial Relations Team using industrial instruments including awards, enterprise agreements and employment contracts.
* Liaising with doctors to clarify and determine the nature of their industrial and workplace relations queries
* Working towards providing accurate and practical employment relations advice and support to doctors
* Reviewing correspondence, workplace policies, and procedures to support the provision of employment relations advice
* Drafting correspondence and information sheets, including industrial advice, to inform doctors of their rights and obligations under industrial agreements and legislation
* Collaborating with external stakeholders to support the delivery of workplace relations advice and services
* Undertaking other duties associated with AMA (WA)’s industrial relations services, as directed
Required Skills:
* Recent undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in Work and Employment Relations, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Law (or similar).
* No previous employment relations work experience required.
* Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner,
* Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, basic Excel function and Outlook.
* Highly effective communication skills and analytical capabilities.
* An interest in workplace relations, employment law, or industrial advocacy
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
