Right now, we are seeking a bright and energised Operations Planner to join our inspired Advanced Training and Test Environment (ATTE) team.
In this role, you will contribute to the success of our business through the coordination and planning of large scale Defence Test and Training events across the Air domain. By exceeding customer expectations and striving to ensure vital coordination between programs, you will help to meet Raytheon’s business goals.

4. Working alongside and reporting to the RAAF AWC Operations Planning team at RAAF Edinburgh
5. Establishing and maintaining communications between the Operations Planning Team and other supporting Raytheon programs that provide enabling services (eg. threats, ranges, debrief capability)
6. Generation and maintenance of long range exercise forecasts
7. Generating planning reports and coordinating the resolution of any identified conflicts
8. Diploma in Science, Aviation or related discipline and a minimum of nine years relevant Defence experience
9. Strong technical / report writing, negotiation and collaboration skills
10. Good understanding of Defence tasking processes particularly across the Air domain
11. Previous experience and responsibility for identifying and making improvements to processes, systems and/or products to enhance performance
12. Good understanding of Air Force planning cycle
13. Good knowledge of air warfare, maritime warfare and electronic warfare
14. Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions in a timely manner when under pressure
15. Experienced and competent in the use of Microsoft based tools as well as other defence planning tools
16. Hold or be eligible for an NV-1 security clearance to perform the role
