The Team:
As a member of the Domestic Services Team (Cleaner) at the Mersey Community Hospital, you will contribute to infection prevention by maintaining hospital cleanliness, safety, and presentability for patients, visitors, and staff. You will join a mid to large-sized multidisciplinary team working across the hospital with on-the-job training.
The Role:
* Multidisciplinary role with on-the-job training provided.
* Use of industrial cleaning tools and chemicals to ensure hospital cleanliness and safety.
* Responsibilities include linen delivery, waste management, mopping, sweeping, and dusting.
* Contribute to preventing infection spread and maintaining hospital hygiene.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part-time position, working 40 hours per fortnight, starting from a mutually agreed date.
Fixed-term, casual positions available as needed, for approximately 17 months, with hours to be negotiated.
Note: The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for up to twelve months from the date of publication.
Salary: $57,130 to $62,486 per annum (Pro rata). Includes a 12% superannuation contribution.
