Reporting to both the CEO and Board, this position requires a strategic thinker who has the capability to influence strategic discussions and outcomes, support growth and build the financial foundation required to support a scaling organisation.
This newly created CFO role will require a CPA or CA qualified professional who has had 5 + years’ experience in a finance leadership role. Ideally, you have had experience implementing the finance infrastructure required to support growth in a mining, civil or construction related business.
The successful candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to think strategically whilst maintaining attention to operational detail, whilst aligning to Bennco Groups core values of:

About you:
CA/CPA qualified with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business
5+ years’ experience in senior finance roles, ideally within mining, construction or infrastructure
Solid understanding of project accounting and contract law
Proven leadership in managing finance teams
Proficiency in implementing and operating an ERP
Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive strategic financial planning to support growth, service innovation and operational scalability
- Build financial models and business cases that inform strategic investment decisions
- Assist with the delivery of accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit and regulatory requirements across the group
- Oversee all finance operations including accounting, taxation, compliance and risk management
- Driving digital transformation, ensuring our IT systems support smarter decision-making and security
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and commercial thinking
