Overview
We are looking for a Psychologist to join the Acute Allied Health Division of SALHN, working across medical and surgical areas. You will plan, develop, deliver and evaluate Psychology Services, collaborating with patients and the multidisciplinary team.

Salary: $112,139.00 - $120,284.00 p.a. (Pro Rata) AHP3 | Full Time - Ongoing
Responsibilities
* Provide high level, evidence-based psychological, cognitive and behavioural/emotional assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients with complex health issues.
* Offer expert opinion, consultancy and psycho-education to staff to support patients and maximise self-management strategies.
* Establish and develop internal and external networks of service providers to deliver patient resources and pathways; act as a consultant in clinical psychological services.
About you (Qualifications and experience)
* Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA with an endorsed area in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology.
* Significant relevant clinical experience in delivering applicable models and practices.
* Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating service improvement activities.
* Competence in designing and implementing evidence-based psychological interventions and treatments with a broad range of Clinical Psychology skills.
* Extensive knowledge in psychometric assessment, research and program design.
* Ability to problem-solve, manage time and apply specialist skills to complex client therapy and psychology service issues.
