The Residential Services Admissions Officer plays a crucial role in facilitating admissions to residential care facilities. This includes preparing admission applications, completing Residential Care Agreements, and collaborating with residents, families, and staff to ensure a seamless transition into care.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting residents and families throughout the admissions process, ensuring clear understanding of requirements, assessments, and financial obligations
* Maintaining and updating waiting lists, respite admissions, and related statistics
* Assisting with asset assessments to determine financial status and liaising with management on financial matters
* Coordinating client meetings, facility viewings, and admissions with nursing directors or managers
* Collaborating with social workers, case managers, and health information services to support timely and accurate admissions
* Providing guidance to finance teams and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
