**The opportunity**:
Reporting to the Head of Retail you will be responsible for the coordination of daily operations, human resource management and guest experience for the Retail Department across one of two park clusters (Sea World, Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country or Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild). A fantastic role for an experienced and motivated retail professional, you will be supported to ensure smooth operations of the retail department within a small team and achieve real job satisfaction in driving sales results and growing the retail aspect of the business.
**In this role you will be responsible for**:
- Manage and coordinate Supervisory and frontline Retail team members including resource planning, support, mentoring, recruitment and development
- Work alongside Workforce Planning to manage rosters and pay sign off, using working knowledge of AWU/EBA agreement
- Monitor and action operational compliance, coordinate appropriate training and set service standards
- Triage and action day-to-day requests for store communications & tasks from the Head of Retail
- Escalate and manage business-critical store operational issues to relevant stakeholders
- Performance management and career development of your teams
- Stock feedback and inventory management
- Budget management and financial reporting
**We are looking for an experienced Retail professional with proven sales results and a passion for leading and building high performing teams. **In addition, you will need**:
- Previous budgetary responsibility, with proven results in wage management and sales growth
- Personnel management experience including performance management, training and rostering
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills appropriate to deal with a range of staff, guests and stakeholders
- Experience with a multi-site retail operation in a fast-paced environment with at least 100 staff.
- Enthusiastic and reliable, and the ability to work flexible hours and at different locations
- Strong computer skills across standard office suite software
- Own vehicle and open driver's license, with the ability to travel between sites as required
- Experience in SAP, Maximo and Kronos Systems highly desirable.
- Ability to work on any day including weekends, school holidays and night events.
