**About the role**
This is a newly developed
**full-time, 24 month fixed-term** contract based at the
**Nowra Administration Building**. Reporting directly to the Manager of Water Business Services as part of the Shoalhaven Water, the focus of this position is to:
- Lead the proactive engagement of industry and government agencies to identify and evaluate opportunities for additional infrastructure to expand the region's telecommunication coverage.
- Establish strategies to identify commercial opportunities for additional infrastructure to expand the region's telecommunication coverage
- Coordinate key internal stakeholders in telecommunication assets to maximise the Commercial value of council infrastructure.
**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in the position, you will possess:
- Recognised Tertiary qualifications in Business, Property Law, Real Estate Valuation, Property Management, or other related course or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within local government property or commercial business, or experience within a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in assessing commercial lease/licensing documentation
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration and information exchange within and across work groups in the delivery of outcomes for the community.
- Proven success in translating business strategy into operational goals and activities and fostering a shared understanding of how these contribute to higher-level objectives.
- Proven success in negotiation and strong communication skills to engage with a range of stakeholders in developing solutions for business success.
