I am partnered with a large Federal Government Agency to recruit an APS6 Project Team Leader, working within the Corporate Systems directorate, based in Canberra.
The Role: We are seeking an experienced an experienced Assistant Director, Digital Marketing to lead the planning and delivery of a range strategic and accessible projects including digital marketing campaigns via SMS, email and subscriber-based newsletters while also looking for opportunities to build consistency and quality across the Agency's digital marketing products.The initial contract term is for 12 months, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
This role can be based at any client site location Nationally with flexible and hybrid work arrangements available.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading a program of work to optimise and improve the agency's digital marketing products with a focus on accessibility and impact of direct communications Lead baseline evaluations of digital marketing products and support continuous improvements, informed by monitoring and reporting across digital platforms Planning and delivering high-profile email campaigns to support expansion of the digital marketing product offer, retain IP warmth, and support increased understanding of Scheme reform and broader behaviour change campaigns Work with colleagues across the Division to coordinate marketing communications across various channels, ensuring audiences are segmented appropriately and messaging targeted to audiences at the right time, on the right channel Leading and managing significant procurement and supplier contracts Coach and develop team capability in digital marketing communications strategy and delivery Look for opportunities to build consistency and quality across Agency digital marketing products Expanding the team scope and service offer in line with platform expansion.
Defining staff roles, performance expectations and conducting performance appraisals as required.
About you: You are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
You will bring your extensive experience (10 years+) in delivering digital (email) marketing, managing complex audience segmentation and targeted marketing communications to this role and ideally hold tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related discipline.
You will demonstrate:Experience deploying digital marketing campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) email studio Ability to deliver strategic program of work aligned to Agency priorities Ability to lead and deliver projects with competing priorities and deadlines Ability to implement change and manage ambiguity in the workplace Plan and monitor work processes, direct and coordinate quality assurance practices and set performance indicators.
Build team capability through coaching, providing performance feedback, conflict resolution and encouraging career development.
