About the RoleWe're looking for someone who's ready to lead from the front, both on the floor and at the leadership table.
You'll be accountable for the daily operations of our warehouse while also stepping into a more strategic space, helping shape our logistics and operations for future growth.Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be working hands-on with the warehouse team, coaching, building trust, and getting your hands dirty when needed.
In conjunction with this, you will be focused on driving improvements, analysing data, and collaborating with other leaders to align warehouse operations with broader business goals.Key responsibilitiesLead, improve and inspire our experienced warehouse team (20 people) day-to-day, ensuring order accuracy, speed, and safetyBe physically present on the floor to support 3 team leads for Dispatch, Receipt & Put Away, and Operational ReadinessPrepare and manage cost efficient rosters across full time, part-time, and casual staffWork with the GM to identify and execute projects to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce costs, and negotiate better freight and packaging outcomesUse Excel and internal systems to analyse warehouse data, assess improvements (e.g. time & motion studies, cost / benefit assessments), and support decision makingActively participate in the company leadership team, contributing insights and supporting initiatives across departments (Marketing, IT, E-Commerce, Customer Experience and Finance)Uphold and role-model our SHINE values; foster a culture of support, accountability, and continuous improvementAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is:Experienced in warehouse operations and team leadership (ideally 3+ years)Analytical, with strong Excel & PC skills and the ability to interpret data for decision makingStrategic, with an eye for continuous improvement and commercial impactConfident with inventory management / warehouse technology systemsCulturally aligned, ready to bring SHINE values to life and contribute meaningfully to the leadership teamSkilled at leading people, with the ability to motivate, coach and inspire strong performanceFit to perform the physical aspects of the role safely and effectivelyNice to Have (But Not Essential)Experience with freight or carrier negotiationsBackground in e-commerce or fast-moving B2C environmentsWhy Join Us?
