The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team in Perth to support the delivery of accurate, timely and high‐quality financial information across the business.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role provides hands‐on exposure to core accounting operations, month‐end reporting and statutory compliance within a national property development group. This is an ideal opportunity for an early‐career accountant looking to build strong technical capability and commercial understanding within a supportive, high‐performing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Support day‐to‐day accounting operations including bank reconciliations, journals and lot settlements
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month‐end, half‐year and year‐end reporting
* Administer accounts receivable, including invoicing and investigation of outstanding items
* Assist with fixed asset register maintenance, bank guarantees and statutory reporting requirements
* Support accounts payable activities and respond to finance‐related enquiries
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements and finance projects
About YouQualifications & Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
* CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards accreditation
* 1–2 years' experience in a similar role or within an accounting firm
* Exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations and accounting systems
* Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations highly regarded)

* Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Clear, professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
* Comfortable working with systems, processes and new technologies
* Strong computer literacy, particularly across Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
