About the role
We have experienced exponential growth and require a full time Gold Coast based client-side Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects in Queensland and nationally throughout Australia.
The successful candidate will lead this project to begin with and work closely with the Managing Director and project team, providing project management services. This involves coordinating team members, third-party contractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to acceptable quality to exceed our client’s expectations.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial part in our success and our client's business outcomes. These key responsibilities are:
Lead construction Project Management delivery and advisory ProjectsEnsure projects are delivered on time and within budget Set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholdersLiaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basisDevelop and deliver progress reports, required documentation and presentationsLead project teams including but not limited to project assistances, project co-ordinators, designers, engineers, contract Administrators, contractors, tradesman and consultantsIdentify risks and mitigations and resolve project issues and conflicts · Planning and managing work streams and the deliverables including costs, time, scope and quality constraints· Define and manage project management documentation including; Project Scope, Risk registers, Action registers, Issue Registers and Decision RegistersLead Project planning activities and Develop full-scale project plans/Programs and associated documentsManage project communications including phone calls, emails and meetingsAssist with financial management tasks including Purchase orders, invoicing, project budget and cost trackingAssist with coordination and management of project resourcesLead administration activities including; following up on project specific actions, arranging meetings, recording meeting minutes, drafting and following up on emailsMonitor and report project progress on project specific KPI’s
About you
Ideally have at least 3 years project management experience ideally in constructionMust be based in QLD, Australia and work from the office as requiredExceptional team player and be able to work autonomouslyOutstanding time management, prioritising, multi-tasking and organisation skills.Strong communication verbal and written skillsHighly motivated with a commitment to self-improvement and customer satisfactionEnjoys working in a fast past environmentExcellent computing skills and use of MS Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookMeet or exceed Key Performance targets and objectives.Must have experience using Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent Project Management SoftwareIdeally have Project Management Qualifications in PMP or Prince2 and a degree in business, construction or healthcare
