About the Role
As a specialist nursing professional, you will be part of a pioneering Telenursing service for prostate cancer. You will provide expert care, support, and guidance to thousands of individuals affected by prostate cancer across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide resources and information to health professionals and community organisations.
* Offer practical and emotional support to individuals affected by prostate cancer.
* Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based information and education via phone and electronic communications.
* Guide patients to appropriate internal and external support programs.
* Contribute to educational programs and staff development.
* Participate in quality improvement activities and research programs.
* Maintain professional standards in nursing and cancer care.

Requirements:
* Registered Nurse (Division 1-General) with AHPRA registration.
* Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience.
* At least 3 years' experience working with prostate cancer patients.
* Advanced knowledge in urology or oncology nursing and supportive care.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in MS Office, internet, email, and databases.
