What's the role?

The Senior Engineer, Contact Centre Platforms role is responsible for providing expert services and knowledge in relation to designing, engineering, and implementing critical contact centre platforms and application services within a cloud-native environment.

This role will be focused on utilising critical skills in DevOps, AWS Cloud and Code development to support a large-scale re-platforming program moving from an on-premises platform to a cloud native, contact centre as a service. You will be augmented with a team of Contact Centre specialists to help augment and uplift your skillset.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

* Solution Planning, Design and Architecture Assurance:Validate technical detailed designs and ensure alignment with platform standards, existing architecture, best practices, and business requirements. Contribute to planning, ensuring management of timeline, risk, and dependencies.
* Build and Configuration: Develop, configure, and integrate components, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
* DevOps and CI/CD Enablement: Contribute to automated pipelines, deployment processes, and operational readiness.
* Configuration and Code Quality: Develop and review code and configurations, ensuring compliance with security, performance, and maintainability standards Veterans.
* Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist functional, performance, and security testing, validating end-to-end workflows before deployment. Assist in developing automated testing capabilities into change and operational processes.
* Implementation and Deployment: Assist production rollout, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth cutover to the new platform.
* Operational Transition and Handover: Prepare support documentation, train operations teams, and ensure readiness for ongoing maintenance and incident management.
* Continuous Improvement and Governance: Monitor platform performance, drive enhancements, and maintain adherence to engineering and compliance standards.
* Upskilling: Stay current with emerging domain technologies and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.


What do I need?

* Must have strong working knowledge in a range of AWS servicesන්තრუნველ, including serverless compute, database, networking, security, and governance. Experience in AWS architecture styles, design continuously principles, cloud design patterns, security and compliance automation, automated provisioning, and deployments.
* Must have the ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Jenkins and HashiCorp Terraform. Familiarity with secure configuration management and compliance reporting is essential. })
