Business Development Role

This is a challenging business development position that requires the right candidate to drive growth and sales in the kitchen designer and joiner space.


About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for championing the growth of our portfolio within Melbourne's metropolitan area. You will provide exceptional customer service while driving referrals to increase sales growth. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships is a key component of this role, leveraging your previous experience in business development management to drive success.


Key Responsibilities

The primary objectives of this full-time permanent position are to:

* Drive business development across the kitchen designer and joiner space
* Manage customer relationships by building and maintaining strong, long-lasting connections with key customers
* Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with customers to meet their evolving needs, including consignment stock management, ongoing sales training, and tracking customer referrals
* Participate in strategic planning and market analysis by staying up-to-date with market knowledge and partnering with suppliers for training events


Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a verifiable track record in product-based B2B or B2C consultative sales or business development management positions involving developing new and existing customer relationships to achieve established revenue targets. Experience in collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders is essential. Additionally, we require a customer-led mindset, putting the customer at the heart of all decisions and actions, as well as expertise in organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
