Description
As part of a multidisciplinary team provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients. Facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. The Clinical Nurse practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
The purpose-built, 12 bed Sarich Paediatric and Women's General Medicine Ward cares for :
children aged 14 days to 16 years with medical or surgical needs
adult female medical patients
paediatric ambulatory care patients, including referrals from Perth Children's Hospital and Community Health.
Its staff work closely with Perth Children's Hospital and local health services to ensure children in the Peel region receive the care they need, close to home.
