Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Timekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying daily attendance and time records, examining discrepancies between timesheet hours and badge scanning reports.
The Timekeeper will participate in training and development of future staff, provide gap coverage to other employees, and maintain the unit's standard of performance.
This role requires excellent communication, time management skills, intermediate level spreadsheet analysis, and basic to intermediate experience with payroll/timekeeping systems.
* Verify daily attendance and time records
* Ensure daily/weekly crew timesheet data loads into SAP payroll system
* Communicate daily with internal customers regarding SAP timekeeping and payroll system operations, daily time charges, and payroll calculation queries
* Ensure absentees are properly coded, and hours maintained in accordance with governing labour agreements
* Verify time payouts to terminated employees
* Assist Brisbane-based payroll teams with various time and payroll queries
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A University graduate with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience
* Experience with timekeeping and payroll processes, procedures, and technology
* Ability to maintain confidentiality with a strong ethical behavior in workplace practices
* Customer-service oriented with a demonstrated professional demeanor and communication style
